I have been so impressed with the work that the Larimer County Humane Society during the awful High Park Fire just outside of Fort Collins. Not only have they stepped up and done amazing work caring for over 250 evacuated pets and farm animals but they have done a fantastic job keeping up communication about it on their Facebook page. From let fans of the shelter know what supplies they are in need of to posts updating evacuees on how their pets are doing. A great job utilizing social media for the greater good.
